How do I add clothes to my wardrobe?
Go to the Closet tab and tap "+ Add clothes". You can choose to add a single item or up to 10 items at once in batch mode. Take a photo with your camera or pick one from your gallery — the background is automatically removed on supported devices (iOS 17+). Our AI then detects the garment name, category, colors, materials, fit, seasons, and style. You can review and edit every field before saving.
How does outfit generation work?
Open the Get dressed section and choose between "Today’s outfit" for a quick daily suggestion, or "Special occasion" to pick from 8 occasion types (Work, Party, Dinner, Date, Formal, Sport, Beach, Casual) and a matching style. Tonee combines your wardrobe items, your daily style preference, and current weather to find the best combination. After generation, you can swap individual garments by tapping on them, or request changes in free text (e.g. "darker colors", "more formal").
What is the color analysis?
Tonee can determine your color season (armocromia) by analyzing a face photo. This identifies your skin undertone and recommends a palette of colors that complement you best. You can start or redo this analysis anytime from your Profile screen — look for the color palette section and tap "Run the analysis again", or "Add photo" if you haven't done it yet.
How do I change my daily style or preferences?
Open your Profile (accessible from the main navigation). From there you can update your everyday style (Casual, Streetwear, Business, Elegant, and more), toggle location permissions for weather-based suggestions, and review your color palette.
How do I delete my account?
Go to your Profile and tap "Delete account" at the bottom. You'll be asked to confirm twice before proceeding. If you have an active subscription, your account will be scheduled for deletion at the end of your billing period — you can continue using the app until then. If you don't have a subscription, deletion happens immediately. All your personal data, wardrobe photos, and outfit history are permanently removed. You can also request deletion by emailing hello@tonee.app.
Is my data safe?
Yes. All communication uses HTTPS encryption. Your data is stored on SOC 2 compliant infrastructure with Row-Level Security policies, meaning only you can access your own data. Authentication tokens are stored in your device's secure enclave (iOS Keychain). We never sell or share your personal information. For full details, read our Privacy Policy.
What sign-in methods are available?
You can sign in with Email & Password, Google, or Apple. All three methods keep you signed in automatically, so you don't need to log in every time you open the app.
I found a bug. How do I report it?
Send an email to hello@tonee.app with a description of the issue, the steps to reproduce it, and a screenshot if possible. Including your device model and iOS version helps us investigate faster.
